Worship at Grace

Please join us any Sunday morning to experience our worship service and to meet the people who make Grace Episcopal Church such a wonderful place.

Holy Eucharist in the Chapel at Grace: 

  • January - December                  Sundays:10:00 am (organ) 
  • Holy Eucharist will be conducted in a single 10 am weekly service.
  • Sunday School  will not meet
  • During Advent and Christmas Eve, worship services are held in the larger sanctuary at Grace Church.

We are in need of bakers to supply the bake table, any books you may wish to donate or household items for the attic treasures table. We also would be most appreciative for some extra hands forset up on Friday, clean up Saturday or for one of the many volunteer opportunities listed on the sheets on the bulletin board in Grace Church hallway.

Event Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for Blessing of the Animals!  Sunday  Oct. 3 12pm-2pm. We need folks to help with set up, decorations, greeters, and breaking down. Please contact Amy Diamond at if you can help! 

We are also looking for donation items for Raffle Baskets: pet store gift cards, dog/cat toys/leashes/treats/, any pet-centric gift items (mugs, note cards, water bowls, home decor, etc.) These items can be dropped at Grace Mon-Thurs 9am-12pm, or contact Amy. 

Annual Episcopal Church Women meeting (ECW)

Annual Meeting - October 16, 2021 at Frazier’s Restaurant, Dover, DE, 12:30 PM Luncheon Buffet followed by a program that will include a discussion of theroles of women who serve in our diocese . Please contact the parish office if you are interested in attending 302-798-6683.

Altar Flowers:  Please contact the Grace Church office if interested in purchasing altar flower memorials in memory, in thanksgiving or in celebration of something. $25 for one bouquet or $45 for 2 bouquets.

Ditty Box Items are being collected to fulfill the 100 shoe boxes that Tom Marshall’s team wraps each year for the Seamen’s Center of Wilmington. Items needed are: toothbrushes, tooth- pastes, combs, deodorants, shampoos, hats and scarves, razors, chap sticks, playing cards, hand lotions, socks, soaps, pens, pencils, sewing kits and crackers. Items may be dropped off at the parish office. Any questions, please contact Tom Marshall or the parish office.

Donations Needed: We are still in need of items for school supplies for the School Backpack Project, warm scarves, hats and gloves for the Angel Tree and nutritious food for Claymont Community Center’s Food Closet and St. Helen’s Food Closet

Our neighborhood food closets have requested the following foods in particular: Canned Vegetables, Peanut Butter, Canned Tuna, Fruit, Cranberry Sauce, Gravy, Cereal, Pancake Mix, Jelly, Syrup, Boxed Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Mac n Cheese, Baking Mixes.

Items may be dropped at BCM church offices between 9 and noon Monday through Thursday.
